
Part 2 - Driving Technique
This test is of an advanced nature and a very high standard of competence is expected. It is not just a slightly more difficult ‘L’ test. You must drive in a brisk and ‘business like’ manner, demonstrating that you have a thorough knowledge of the principles of good driving and road safety.
The routes used will include roads, which may carry heavy and or fast moving traffic, for example motorways or dual carriage ways, and will include arrears in and outside of built-up arrears.
You must satisfy the following:-
Expert handling of the controls
Application of correct road procedures
Anticipation of the actions of other road users and taking the appropriate action.
Sound judgment of speed, distance and timing; and Consideration for the convenience and safety of other road users.
Part 2 - Training
We guarantee all training will be conducted on a one to one basis as recommended by will be actively encouraged to apply new driving skills acquired to their everyday driving.
Appropriate mock tests will be carried out.
