There are a number of courses to suit various standards of learners. One has to take into account that practical driving tests can only be booked once the theory test has been passed. This is the law as it stands at present. Tests are conducted by the Driving Standards Agency. This is a government department responsible for all tests and waiting times apply. Waiting times for both theory and practical tests vary from area to area. As a rough rule of thumb theory tests take around two weeks and practical tests around six - eight weeks. Which type of course is suitable for you will depend on previous driving experience and whether you have already passed the theory test. Courses: The following may be taken over a one or two week period. If you have passed your theory:
40 hours tuition including test fee £680.00 If you have not passed your theory:
40 hours tuition including practical and theory £700.00* *A pre-course lesson is required during which your allocated instructor will book your theory test and advise on requirements for the test. After successful completion of the theory test a further lesson will be taken during which your practical test will be booked.
